The "Chariot." Yes, it looks like a carpet Zamboni. No, I won't play Hava Nagila on an organ while you clean your living room.

Saw this being rocked in the lobby but the pictures were too potato-y.

Plus side: Quiet. People gather 'round to watch.

Minuses: Employing someone to drive a carpet Zamboni. Incorporating "carpet Zamboni pilot" into your resume.

Judging by the look of it, that's the Chariot iVac 34. I think I saw one of these in person before as well.

Works on just about any surface, carpet or hard. The product specs mention 'carpet, tile, wood, concrete, stone, rubber, VCT (Vinyl Composition Tile)'.

68 dBA, so yes, it is rather quiet.

We have something similar at work to mop the tile floors , but it's a bit larger and you walk behind it holding a set of handlebars.
